Where Are The Sanders?

I thought this would be a good time to answer the question that so many of you have been asking…. “So where are you guys and what have you been up to?”

It was about mid-October when we realized, that when we submit ourselves to God life becomes truly amazing!

 

Carols for Kids



God blessed and we were able to go to CCC Youth Prayer Conference in Ceres CA. Where we were challenged to take $20.00 and make a difference in the world. Thanks to God’s gift of music and Wal-Mart we turned that $20.00 into $700.00 singing “Carols for Kids”.

Closing out the month of October was a blast. We spent time at the Mentone SDA Church in Mentone CA, catching up with old friends (Templeton and Kirk) and making new friends (Lowry and Oyoyo).

If the adults can do it,so can we!





November opened with yet another blessing… We were able to attend “Kids In Discipleship Train the Trainer and K.I.D. University” at the Soquel Campgrounds.

Superb is the word I would use to describe the hospitality of the staff and students of Monterey Bay Academy in La Selva Beach, CA… Volleyball anyone?

God blessed yet again as we traveled to Reedley, CA. We were able to schedule a photo shoot with the sweetest photographer ever… just days before closing out our “Family Life” program for the year, with the members of the Reedley SDA church.

We closed out the month of November at the Merced Bethel SDA church, literally with family and friends. We’ve always been told you are amongst family when you enter an Adventist church…. Well that was more than true for us in Merced…. We found some of our distant cousins, it was a nice surprise.





December gave us a most wonderful surprise. We were able to make the trip HOME! Oh to be home for the holidays. Life has been fast paced with lots of love. On your mark - get set - GO!
